Packet Pick Up Registration*: Registration will be available during packet pick up at Fleet Feet on Bridge Street in East Syracuse on November 2nd from 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm. Registration Forms will be available on site or you can bring it with you. Please bring a check or exact cash for entry fee - no credit/debit cards will be accepted during packet pick up registration.
Race Day Registration*: Race day registration will start at 7:30 am inside the fire station. Registration Forms will be available on site or you can bring it with you. Please bring a check or exact cash for entry fee--no credit/debit cards will be accepted during race day registration.
*An additional $5 will apply to all registrations completed during packet pick up and on race day.
To run only the 5K or only the 10K race, registration is $25 per person. To run both the 5K and 10K race, registration is $30 per person. If registering during packet pick up or on race day, an additional $5 will apply to the registration fees listed.
The kids run is a free race.
Please make all checks payable to the East Syracuse Fire Department and note The Burn Run in the memo line of your check. Checks made payable to other entities will be returned and will delay processing of your application.
Entry into the 5K and/or 10K race (additional fee to participate in both races). Commemorative race day shirt and food/snacks after the race.
There are no refunds or transfers permitted for The Burn Run. Your registration fee is considered a contribution/donation to the Burn Foundation of Central New York.

Both races are USATF certified. The 5K course is certificate #NY07071JG. The 10K course is certificate #NY12137JG.
The 5K awards are announced at 9:45 am and the 10K awards are announced at 11:30 am. There will be awards given for combined 5K and 10K results as well which will be announced at the completion of the 10K results. Awards must be picked up at the race.
Yes, please just be aware of your surroundings while running.
Yes, but be aware that congestion occurs at the start of the race (as it does with any race) so please be mindful of the people around you that as well.
No, the race is for humans only. If you have a certified service/therapy animal though, please contact the race director prior to registration.
Yes, there will be water stations placed throughout the course for 5K and 10K.

Parking is available at the Bank of New York Mellon facility. Volunteers can direct you to the appropriate parking area.
